Yoga and Peace

Yoga in a traditional way.
I am writing this page for yogis who are looking a place to practice yoga in India with a traditional Indian atmosphere. My yoga center is nearer to varkala beach and cliff.  Home feeling atmosphere at the center keep every practitioner to uplift them self and experience everyday practice. Yoga is a transformation. Body Mind and Consciousness. If it is not moving in this way years of practice just became fruitless efforts. For this purpose right training, right approach, right attitude, right atmosphere, right food etc is necessary.
Until you self experience there is no yoga at all. This is all depending upon a student how they begin to practice. How they begin to adapt day by day. Only an experienced teacher can patiently guide a student to achieve his goal.
I am giving individual and group training in my yoga centre varkala, India. You can find out this location just walk away from the beach. Or the way from varkala railway station to the beach. Kasi Varkala Yoga Shala, which is located 15 minutes walking distance from the varkala beach.
The yoga center can accommodate 8 students with serving vegetarian food and whole day training.
Making your body healthy and mind happy. Finally if you are looking to stay a place with peace and calm for yoga or relaxation you are welcome.
From August 2014 this year program will start. All are welcome

What is yoga practice?
Now we know that one of the most popular for of exercise in the world is yoga asana practice. There are millions of people are fascinated and experiencing this amazing ancient technique. As we say old is gold yoga is supreme and perfect. But still for a beginner or someone doing yoga long time too get confused on the path sometime. If you practice yoga just for physical fitness there is a chance for this tiredness or confusion. How to practice yoga it very important. In ancient time as we know yogis were not thinking to increase their flexibility or go for a yoga competition. It was not the purpose for asana practice. Their aim and attitude were totally different from modern man yoga practice. That does not mean that there were ignorant about new ideologies or modern man needs. They realized what a man need in his life and what are the causes of sufferings. But now we are not aware of those things. We are not still aware of why we practicing yoga. Even not aware of a single asana well how does it work with an individual. We are doing just as we do an exercise. May be you dont agree with this. But there are many people do like this, that category of people are confused or tired after a while. Nothing going to change unless you understand this principle. If someone use body just for asana practice without proper understand get tired as we do any physical workout.

Asana has a meaning it is stable and study. From body to Mind. Body need to treat comfortable and keep it queit. This help to make mind steady and quiet. Very simple. Next how to select and practice. That you have to learn from a teacher or Guru. Guru is better because he knows what really a student needs. Guru means an experienced or realized person. Moreover Sradha(great attention) Viswas (faith on action) are necessary. I think those two things most of the people lost. Because of our modern mind. But it is possible to discover yourself. Nothing has lost. Only our mind feels tired and hopeless. But the moment you begin to believe your self and go through Sradha and Viswas you will see a right path.
